Keep A Watch Out for Crime!
Good neighbors keep a lookout for one another and report any suspicious activity or persons in the neighborhood. If you notice suspicious persons or vehicles, please call the College Station Police Department immediately at (979) 764-3600. Help protect South Hampton and your neighbors from unwanted criminal activity or casing of homes. Report suspicious activity day or night!
Refuge containers MUST be stored out of view
Homeowners are reminded that refuge, garbage, and trash must be kept at all times in covered containers and such containers must be kept within enclosed structures or appropriately screened from view. Containers may be placed at curbside on collection days but should be returned to an appropriate screened area the same day. This is a Covenant, Condition, and Restriction requirement and compliance is appreciated.
Satellite Dishes require Architectural Committee approval prior to installation
Satellite television reception is a popular form of television entertainment, however, inconsiderate dish antenna placement can be athletically unpleasant to our subdivision's appearance. Homeowners are reminded that satellite dishes installed at residences require the prior approval of the Architectural Committee as outlined in Article III (Antenna and Signals) of the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions (CCR's) of each South Hampton Phase. The purpose is to maintain our community's appearance and residential appeal. Many satellite dish installers install dish antennas at a convenient location for installation without consideration to our neighborhood or your home's appearance. The Architectural Committee will help you select a functional location preferably less obvious from street or sidewalk view. If you are planning to use a satellite tv service provider as Dish Network or DirecTV, complete and submit the Architectural Project Request Form found on the Documents tab or contact Jodie Tiffin with questions.
For existing dish installations, the HOA Board has contacted both DirecTV and Dish Network and both company's desire to comply with our requirements and can relocate existing dish antenna's at minimal cost to you.
Planning A Fence, Home or other Improvement to your lot or residence? Get Approval first!
The South Hampton Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions require homeowners, including lot owners, wishing to construct an external home or lot improvement (including any fence or structure) to submit plans and details to the South Hampton Homeowners Association Architectural Committee for a compliance review to our governing standards. All Homeowners should first review and become familiar with the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions and any amendments for their specific Phase before starting an improvement project. Plans with details should be submitted to the Architectural Committee for approval before starting construction, committing to material purchases or contract labor. The Committee does not review plans for safety, local building code, build permit or zoning compliance. The Architectural Approval Project Request Form is available for printing by going to the Documents page. Homeowners and lot owners may contact the Architectural Committee via phone or email shown on the Contact Us page.
